Knowing your baking basics is the foundation of being a great baker. These posts include how-to's as well as all the recipes I use frequently to complete a baked delight. Expect to find buttercream icing, syrups, ice-creams, and sauces (and more) which require stovetop cooking to complement and complete a baked dish.
